We tested these batteries in an FM Recorder 20, on continuous play for 15 hours and 45 minutes on a single charge! For the 320's, we tested the video time with a short 15 minute movie (Potluck) on repeat play for 3 hrs 20 mins, after testing Archos original batteries for a playback time of 2 hrs 45 mins. Longer movies will, of course, allow the hard drive to spin-up less frequently, and the batteries will last significantly longer as a result.
On average, when correctly installed, you can expect between a 10-30% increase in play time for the AV300 series and as much as a 40-50% increase for the other models over your original Archos li-ion batteries! Playback time will vary, depending on each individual player and model, whether audio or video is played, how often the player is turned off and on, etc. In short, you can expect a noticeable increase in playback time with our battery!
