This filter is designed to reduce or eliminate noise which can occur with some cars when powered with a car power adapter or when using an FM transmitter to listen to music in the car. Those experiencing a whining noise in their speakers may find this product helpful. Installs under the hood, by wiring the filter into the power cable which runs from the car battery to the cigarette lighter. Connect the red cable to the positive terminal of the battery, the blue cable to the positive terminal of the cigarette lighter and the black cable to the body of your car. Simply disconnect this power cable at any point and patch this filter in.
